i have had my G1 ever since it came out, i will never replace it, i am going to be in Trinidad(Caribbean) for 2 months, if i contact tmobile for the unlock code, will it work with any serevice provider in the island?

I had the black G1 but when T-mobile came out with the White i had to have it. I think it looks way better in white..
To answer some of the questions..::
The white one is better than other other sidekick or phones to tell u the truth. I had the sk 2008, and the samsung behold, even the blk g1, but all together i found the white one better because you have a really nice BIG screen, you have the android market that lets you download tons of free aps that make ur phone unique and its got a 3.2 megapixel camera. The lighting on the whtie 1 is indeed lighter than the black one because the color of the keys are light so it blends in too much,making it hard to c, but still if u text a lot your fingers know exactly where to go.. (in my case)./ when i got my black g1 in october it didnt come with the adapter but when i got the white one it did. So like someone said, the adapters come with every new g1 after thanksgiving day.

2008-10-20: My wife’s t-mobile g1 (a.k.a. “The Google Phone,” HTC Dream) came in today and here it is “in action.” She’s at work and she has her SIM card with her, so it’s not actually on. (Excuse the construction noise from the next building over.)
