Everyone works on bringing boxes into Natalia and Olivia’s place as Olivia directs traffic. Frank walks out he didn’t break a thing. Natalia asks everyone to stay. She wants to make dinner for them. They will need to pass the time. Rafe says if he had more mitts they could play softball. Frank has some in his car. Frank and Rafe choose their teams. Josh shows up. He heard about moving day. Rafe says his mom can’t play so he will take Josh on his team.

James and Alan chat in his hospital room. James got all these applications for Alan’s phone. One to show the stock market. Another for weather. There is Youtube but Alan is probably too young for that. James admits he was afraid that his granddad would not make it. Alan says he was as well. He’ll be fine. He’ll be playing Frisbee in no time. James can show him a new move. Alan says let him get out of the hospital first. How do you work this phone? James shows his grandfather.

Frank, Lillian and Billy chat at the Cooper house. Alan and Phillip are both in recovery and doing fine. Lillian has to head back to the hospital to see them. Billy still doesn’t know what to say. Speak from his heart. Frank asks if Lillian is alright. She was just thinking how lucky they are to have each other. Lillian leaves. Frank and Billy both agree with that. Buzz walks over. Billy says that they are both lucky men. At the end of the day they will all be alright.

Beth looks at Phillip. He loves seeing her smile. He hopes she didn’t take out more insurance since it looks like he’s going to make it. Beth curses there goes the home in Hawaii. Beth sits by Phillip. They are all fine. Rick is acting outside like he’s the one who came up with the idea. Beth and Phillip laugh at Rick’s expense. He was afraid that he would never see her again. He’s such a stubborn man. Beth and Phillip look longingly into each others eyes.

Lizzie and Bill are relaxing at home. Lizzie wonders how they can do that since the family is at Cedars. Bill says it’s fine. Reva shows up then along with Jonathon and Sarah. Lizzie rushes to her daughter. Jonathon introduces Sarah to her mommy. Lizzie and Sarah hug.

Olivia and Emma arrive at the farmhouse. Natalia opens her door. She’s glad that they are there. Emma walks in but Olivia can’t do it yet.

Cyrus and Ashlee continue to jabber on but they need to get back to the medal box. Blake looks at the time. It’s 5:15. [ Go Up To Go Down by Gabriel Mann plays ] Coopers sit at Company, Beth chats with Ed as she signs papers, Alan walks along the park as Phillip watches him from a distance. Natalia and Emma bake. Natalia walks over to the window and looks out at Olivia who looks back at the house. The Cooper clan reads the paper. Marina and Shayne play with Henry. Alan walks up to Phillip on the bridge in the park.

The writing is done. Cyrus tells Blake to get the publisher on the phone. It’s almost time 5:58pm. Cyrus hacks into the count and makes sure that the time looks like the book came in on time. While Cyrus does this, Blake does her best sales pitch to the publisher to get time to pass. Blake says that he publisher got the book on time. Blake asks that the advance be sent to the bank details that she sent earlier. The publisher agrees. Blake closes her phone as Cyrus and Ashlee cheer.

Lillian and Ed chat about the donor registry at the hospital. The hospital is doing some blood work. The first past lab results are in. There is a match. Rick gets a call from the lab. Rick tells James that he is a match. James can save his dad. He might be able to. What do they have to do now? James says that he is going to beat the odds and save his dad. Phillip is livid when he finds out that James is going to do this. Phillip lashes out at his son. There is no way that James is going to do this. James runs off. Rick lashes out at Phillip for being a schmuck.

Lizzie and Phillip chat. She’s having a lot of fun planning her wedding. She knows the cake is not perfect but who cares. Phillip remarks that he’s never seen his daughter so happy. Lizzie says that she is happy. She’s not worried for a change about the other shoe dropping and something bad happening. Phillip grimaces. Lizzie is excited and happy about the future. Lillian walks in and sees the mess. They all had a fun time. Buzz says they will have a fun time cleaning up now. What does she need? To spend some time.

Olivia and Natalia arrive home at the farmhouse. They find Phillip sitting outside waiting for Olivia. He got the phone call. Olivia says that if Phillip really wants to try this co parenting thing he needs to be around more for Emma. Phillip promises that he will call back when she phones. He was out of town doing something. Olivia says that Emma is going to need her father to be a part of her life for her graduation, wedding. She’s counting on Phillip being there.

Olivia and Phillip are sitting outside. She tells him that she and Natalia are planning on telling Emma the truth about their relationship before the BBQ. They are going to go the BBQ as a couple. Emma doesn’t know yet. No, Olivia wants to sit her down and tell her before she hears it some other way. Phillip asks for one thing. He wants to be there when Rick finally puts the pieces together. Rick’s expression will be priceless. Phillip is not making fun of them as a couple. He doesn’t care as long as Emma is happy and safe. He tells Olivia to go for it. She has to know that they are going to turn a lot of heads at the BBQ. People will talk or they may not talk. Olivia is worried about Emma hearing snide remarks. Phillip says that if that happens he will take care of it. He’ll make sure that Emma is safe. Can he take care of Rafe too? Phillip will help with that as well. It’s going to all be o.k.

Phillip finally arrives back at his grave site.

Lillian sits down with Lizzie at Company. Lizzie had so much fun with her father today. Lizzie laughs at her small cake. It may feed ten people. She will just have to make a lot more to feed her guests. Lillian can help. Lizzie wants to do this. Lillian tells Lizzie to remember how happy she is right now. When a rough time happens in the future, hold on to these memories.

Phillip is at his grave and cursing that he doesn’t have enough time to get everything done. Three months is not a lot of time. Phillip still has to work out things. If he’s going to do this, then he better get the whole three months. It better not be cut short on him. He’s not going to leave without finishing. He has no clue what he’s supposed to be here for but he will figure it out. He will say all that he needs to say and hasn’t been said before. He has to have all of his time. He will try to understand.

James purposely gets himself arrested for driving drunk.

Natalia sits in the bathroom looking at the pregnancy test. She sets the timer on her phone. Olivia is getting the stuff out for the rice krispy squares downstairs. Emma shows up all excited. Olivia tells Emma to wash her hands. Emma helps with getting the rest of the stuff out. Emma wants to do all sorts of things. Olivia would love that except the gorging on food. Emma would get a tummy ache afterwords. Olivia says that this is going to be the best BBQ ever. Emma smirks. She’s never heard her mom say that. Usually Olivia grouches and complains about this and that. Olivia questions if she really does. It doesn’t matter this time since she’s going to be going there with her two favorite girls.

Natalia continues to look as the timer slowly clicks down. She does a prayer. Emma asks where Natalia is. She’s upstairs. She has a bit of an upset stomach. Emma is going to go check on her. Emma knocks on the door as Natalia looks at the timer again. Emma calls out and asks what is wrong. Natalia says nothing. She is fine. She will be downstairs in a bit. Olivia shows up as well. She’s really worried that Natalia got poisoning from Buzz’s sandwiches earlier. Natalia opens the door. It’s not that. She’s fine. Olivia says she looks a little pale. Natalia lies saying that it was too much heat and not enough water. Olivia and Emma can work on the dessert. Natalia should just sit down and rest. Natalia says that she’s going to help. They are going to make the most magical rice krispies together. Olivia says she better get downstairs before Emma steals the marshmallows. Emma laughs and says that Olivia would be the one who would do that.

Emma says that they have to plan what they are going to do at the BBQ. Emma wants Natalia and Rafe to be on her team. Olivia says they can all be a team because they are like that each day already. Olivia looks at Natalia.

Emma wants to try a treat after they are made. Olivia says that they are for the BBQ. Emma can take them out to the car. Olivia says that today has been amazing. Natalia says that she will see them later. She has some errands to run. Olivia says that they are a family because they do stuff together. This is the first family that Olivia has really had. Same with Natalia. Emma will be fine with it. Emma already loves Natalia. It’s clear that Natalia loves Emma as well. It’s going to be a good thing. Olivia reassures Natalia it will all be fine before she leaves. Natalia pulls out the positive pregnancy test.

Buzz still can’t believe his good fortune ( Buzz was grouching about his non working stove to Alan earlier. Alan left and a bit later a new stove showed up for Buzz.). Buzz asks if Olivia was the one who did it for him. She has no clue about stoves. Buzz says that Olivia is awfully perky. Doris says that everyone can seek the twinkle in Olivia’s eyes. A woman in love. Olivia is happy. She tells Doris that she and Natalia are going to the Bauer BBQ as a couple. A couple? In every connotation of the word. They are going to tell Emma tonight. They are finally going to be happy.

Natalia hurriedly walks by Blake who is sitting on a bench. Blake calls out. Natalia says that she is pregnant. Natalia tells Blake that before she got together with Olivia, she slept with Frank. It’s Frank’s baby. When did she find out? Just now. Blake says that she is Frank’s friend but she is also Natalia’s friend. She wants to help. Natalia tells Blake not to tell. Blake says that they should go to Cedars to have it confirmed. Home pregnancy tests are not always accurate.

Olivia and Doris talk at Company over a glass of wine. Olivia is interested about people’s reactions. She knows that Reva will have some type of remark. Alan will be trouble. Olivia corrects Doris saying that Alan has actually been behind them. He supports them. Ashlee may even congratulate them. Everyone will be able to see how normal they are. Unlike eighty percent of the couples there, Natalia and Olivia will actually want to be together. Olivia is beyond happy and giddy. Doris wishes her all the best not believing it will happen. Olivia tells Doris she can’t imagine a life without Natalia in it. She will never feel for another the way she feels about Natalia. Meanwhile Blake sits with Natalia at Cedars as Natalia has blood drawn for a pregnancy test.

Natalia and Blake are waiting when the doctor comes up. Natalia is pregnant. How could she not not know? How far along is she? The doctor says they will have to do a sonogram to determine that but she would say a couple of months. Natalia is shocked. How could she not have known that she was pregnant? She may have known but just wished it was not true. Blake says she has to go. Natalia’s phone rings and it’s Olivia. Olivia asks how Natalia is. She’s fine. She’s just finishing some errands. Olivia says that Emma will be coming back home in a bit. They can all sit down and have some family time. They can then tell Emma the news. Natalia says she can’t do that tonight. Olivia says that is fine. They will just tell Emma before the BBQ tomorrow. Olivia is beyond happy. Natalia will call her later. Olivia loves Natalia. Natalia says she loves Olivia as a tear falls down her face.

Natalia and Blake are talking business when Olivia shows up. Blake is not letting Natalia go. She’s a wonderful worker. Olivia knows. She wants to steal Natalia away. Natalia has to still work. Blake tells her to go. Olivia says that Emma wants to make treats for the BBQ. Olivia says thanks to Blake.Olivia tells Natalia that she has still not gotten a call back from Phillip. She wants to tell Phillip what is up before they spring the BBQ on Emma. What if he disagrees? Then they know. Not everyone is going to agree with their relationship which is fine. Olivia knows what she wants and they will be together tomorrow.

Olivia and Natalia arrive at the mini mart. Olivia goes to get something extra. Natalia walks over and looks at the pregnancy tests. Olivia and Natalia take their groceries out. Olivia is going to call Phillip again. Natalia says good. She has to grab something. Natalia will be right back. She walks in and picks up a pregnancy test.

Frank calls Rick to ask if Rick is going alone. Frank just found out that Natalia is going so he’s not sure if he wants to go. He doesn’t want to be the only single guy there.

Olivia and Natalia arrive back at the farmhouse to find Phillip there. He got her call . Natalia heads inside with the parcels. Olivia tells Phillip he has to work better on this co parenting idea. He has to answer his phone when she calls him about Emma. Phillip will do that more. He was away on business. Olivia tells Phillip he has to be there for Emma’s big days. Emma needs her father around. Natalia unpacks the bags inside. She looks at the pregnancy test. Olivia tells Phillip that she and Natalia are going to tell Emma before the BBQ. Phillip is surprised that Emma doesn’t know yet. Olivia has been waiting for the right moment. Olivia and Natalia have decided to go to the Bauer BBQ as a couple. Phillip is impressed. He wants to be there when Rick puts the pieces together. The look on Rick’s face will be priceless. Phillip is not joking about their relationship. He’s completely fine with it as he’s said before. He just wants Emma to be happy and safe. She is. Phillip warns Olivia that not everyone will be so happy. People will talk but then again they may not notice because Natalia and Olivia are so happy together. Olivia thanks Phillip. She’s worried about Emma hearing snide remarks. Phillip promises that will not happen. He will stop it. Can he help with Rafe? Rafe is not exactly happy. Phillip will take care of that too.

Natalia walks up into the bathroom and pulls out the pregnancy test.

Olivia walks inside. They are not going to start with out Emma there. Emma will be home in five minutes. Natalia is just upstairs. Natalia looks at the stick then the results. She realizes the truth.

Natalia is still at home with Father Ray pushing his moral views on her. She tells him that she doesn’t believe that God is punishing her for her views. She just has different views that Father Ray. What does he want to do? Pretend that Olivia doesn’t matter to her. It would have been easier for her if she had given Rafe up for adoption when she had him so young. She didn’t make that choice. She’s a stronger woman for her love for Olivia. There is nothing wrong with it. Father Ray pushes if that is really the truth.

Olivia says that Ashlee is a good kid. She cares for her mother. Has Doris never tried to tell Ashlee the truth? Doris tells Olivia that she tried to tell Ashlee years ago that she is a lesbian but she never finished the conversation. She was going to do it when Hollywood was all about coming out. She just has never started the conversation again. Isn’t Doris worried that Ashlee will find out another way? Doris is always worried about that. Doris hates the lies. She hates now that she has to justify the lies. Olivia says that tension is why Olivia and Natalia agreed to tell Emma and Rafe the truth. Emma already cares like Natalia as family. Hopefully Emma will accept that Natalia is a bigger part of Olivia’s life as her partner. Doris wishes Olivia luck that Emma handles it better.

Frank walks up to Buzz and Lillian after they talk to Josh. Buzz says the Lewis family is a mess because of the lies. Frank walks over and says that everyone in Springfield would be better if they just told the truth. Frank leaves. Buzz and Lillian look at each other.

Ashlee forgives Doris for her crabbiness earlier. Doris hugs Ashlee. Ashlee knows that Doris was just being a mom. Ashlee tells Doris she can let go now. Doris tries to tell Ashlee the truth. Ashlee stops Doris from telling her and leaves none the wiser.

Olivia sees Rafe at the minimart. She tries to talk to him but he’s not friends with her. He hates her guts after what she did to his mother. What they both are doing is morally wrong. Olivia says that Natalia has spent her life devoted to her son. Rafe needs to grow up and let his mom have a life. Maybe he can finally put his mother first for a change. Rafe brushes it off saying that he’s doing everything for his mother. Everyday he was dragged to church with his mom. It became important to him because it was important to her. Rafe says that he’s worried what is going to happen to his mom when she has to answer to God for her choices.

Blake remarks that Natalia does not look well. She’s fine. Blake talks about the press release for the new book. She’s still stumped why she never picked up on the connection between Olivia and Natalia. Blake is still not going to tell right. Blake would never do that. She admits though that she’s never seen Olivia so happy and content. Blake’s phone rings so she answers it. Natalia gets up and moans as her stomach continues to roll. What is wrong?

Rafe is no expert on religion so how can he make these judgments about his mother. Rafe tells Olivia that Natalia can’t pick and choose what parts of her religion that she’s going to accept. That would be selfish. Natalia has stood by her son her whole life. Rafe really needs to get past this. What if he can’t? Then he will miss on being a part of his mother’s life. He will wallow in his judgment. He may split them up at first but they will find away to be together again. When they do Natalia and Olivia will be stronger for it. Olivia smiles and says she should thank Rafe for that. Rafe can’t believe that he is having this conversation with Olivia. Rafe stalks out. Olivia pulls out her phone and calls Phillip. They need to talk about Emma. They need to talk about all of them and what this could mean.

Blake asks what Natalia’s other symptoms are. She’s been tired and nauseous. She’s thrown up. Blake says that if she didn’t know that Olivia and Natalia were a couple that she would say that Natalia is pregnant. Natalia looks at Blake with shock on her face.

Olivia picks up Emma from Camp. It’s time to go shopping. Emma heard that Call of Duty is a really good game. Olivia says that it’s too gory. Emma says that boys like that. They can go and give the presents but they will not be staying there long. They just want to show Natalia and Rafe that they care for them.

Natalia and Rafe attempt to talk. Natalia knows that Rafe is struggling with what he saw. She’s struggled as well with her beliefs. She had a lot of talks with God. She wants to talk to Rafe as well. They used to talk about everything together. He was her best friend. Rafe and Natalia hug. Rafe tells his mom to eat the dinner. There is way too much. She was kind of hoping that Olivia and Emma would show up. Rafe could have dinner with them and see how they are together. Rafe says thanks but no thanks. He’s leaving. Rafe leaves and Natalia is heart broken.

Frank is on the phone at the SPD. Rafe went to see his mom for a bit. Frank is proud of him. He just couldn’t stay and see his mom like that. Can they hang out together? Frank suggests calling Daisy. Daisy is working. Frank passes Rafe some cash and tells him to go grab a burger down at Company.

Natalia is at the house alone when Emma and Olivia show up. They are just going to leave the gift and go. Emma sees the birthday cake and says they should sing happy birthday. Rafe isn’t there. He didn’t want to stay. He will come back eventually. What does Natalia want Olivia to do? She and Emma can stay and have dinner. Olivia passes plates to Emma and starts dishing out dinner. They continue to have dinner. Afterwords Olivia is helping Natalia clean. Emma makes a move on the cake but Olivia says stop. How did she see her? Olivia has eyes in the back of her head. What do they want to do with the cake? Put candles on it. That sounds perfect. Emma has to put nineteen candles on the cake. Emma can do it.

Rafe is walking around alone. He sits down on the ground outside the baseball diamond.

Frank calls Rafe outside of the Cooper place. Frank can play pool or chat later if Rafe wants. Rafe just has to call him.

Frank walks into the kitchen to find Rafe making breakfast. Rafe comments that there is not much food. Frank says he just moved in so no time for a shopping list. Rafe says he has to go and do some training for his new job. Frank will be busy as well. He wanted to lay down some house rules though if Rafe will be staying there.

Marina is chatting with Mallet about the case when Natalia comes in. She asks if Frank is there. Marina says that her father is at home. Rafe is there as well. Marina knows. Frank is a great guy for helping out. Marina tells Natalia to back off. Marina leaves.

Reva is getting gas for her car when Olivia shows up to do the same thing. They are getting 4th of July decorations. This will be Colin’s first fourth. How is everything? Aside from the murder charge, everything is fine. Jeffrey is taking care of everything. Reva is very lucky to have him as part of her life. Olivia knows that. Olivia says she has to head home.

Frank finishes his phone call with Mallet about the case when Rafe says he has to go. They can set the ground rules later on. Natalia calls Frank from Company to ask about Rafe. Rafe just headed out. How is he doing? He’s hurt and confused. How did she think her son was going to react? Natalia admits she didn’t think about the consequences. Frank can’t argue with that. Marina overhears and lashes out at Natalia then for talking to Frank. Marina told Natalia to back off. Natalia is always making these messes and not cleaning them up. Life just happens to her and she doesn’t think of the consequences. She just makes the situation worse. She doesn’t take responsibility for her actions and she needs to. She can’t keep running to Frank every time something goes wrong.

Olivia is picking out decorations on main street when Father Ray shows up. She thanks him for his support with everything. Father Ray does not support their relationship. The circumstances brought them close but it does not justify their closeness now. So the church is going to dictate how Natalia is going to live her life? Father Ray says no. Natalia has to make her own choices. She’s going through a lot of turmoil. Both of them have the last year. This is not the time to make rash decisions about their feelings. Father Ray leaves then.

Jeffrey tells the person on the phone that Reva is in real trouble. Natalia tells Rafe that she’s still his mom. Rafe says she’s not the mom that he knows. Phillip attempts to bribe the judge to make sure that James’ trial goes the right way. Bill and Lizzie step down as the CEO’s of Spaulding-Lewis. Natasha tells Cyrus he’s not working very hard on finding the diamonds. Cyrus tells Natasha nobody wants her to find the diamonds more than him. Josh tells Jeffrey they have to do something. Jeffrey says they are. They are going to set up Jeffrey as the person who killed Edmund.
