its one of the first of its kind as far as the hard drive goes
and to top it off the physical design is also preety awesome
but i was sorta iffy about when it came between that and the bb curve 8900
i still think its rather nice none the less

How do I turn off the security code so I don’t have to input it every time I turn the phone on? And how can I get past it so it doesn’t restart and I can change the tones?

I read somewhere that there isn’t enough room on the phone. I’m really hoping they’ll find a way to send the update. If the g1 ends up not getting the update is there anyway to manual install 2.0?
T-Mobile itself is being silent on the issue of upgrades of either the G1 or the myTouch, although the consensus is that the update for the myTouch will roll out sometime after the first of the year. As for the issue of the G1 not having enough storage, I have personally seen a rooted G1 running Android 2.0 after being ported by a very clever outside coder named Akira Harada, so it is certainly possible. Never tell a developer that something isn’t possible! If the G1 does not get the update officially, you should watch the forums on master developer Cyanogen’s web site for a slick unauthorized upgrade.
At the very least, you should pleased and tantalized that Google decided to backport the incredible Turn-By-Turn Navigation update originally developed for 2.0 back to version 1.6 and making it available on current updates of the Google Maps application. I’ve been using it for the past week and it is amazing, esp when combined with a dashboard mount/charger combo for my car.

It should take you to your albums or pics if you only have one album
Press the menu button
Click add photo
Select where the photo is from, either the photo gallery or the camera
Select photo
There ya go!!
